Position Details
- 5 provider group: 3 surgeons/2 experienced APPs
- Ambulatory practice less than 1 mile from hospital campus
- Intensivist staffed ICU
- Would care in clinic
- Average patient per clinic day 15-20
- 3 Locations: UP Health-Bell, UP Health Marquette, UP Surgery Center
- DaVinci XI up to 4 days per month
- Call/Trauma Call: 1:5
- Locum support to ensure life balance
- Split day/night 7a-5p and 5p-7a
- APP covers all inpatient rounding
- Some OR assists
Office Practice:
- 8a-5p Mon-Thur. 8a-2p Fri.
- Staffed with on-site manager, nurses, office clerks, scheduler
- Patients booked 15/30/60 minute increments
- Common procedures: excision of skin lesions, I&D of abscesses or seromas, anoscopy & hemorrhoid banding
