Private Practice Pediatrics Position in Florence, AL | Inpatient & Outpatient Practice Model

Position Details:

• Employment Model:

  • 3-year employment agreement with partnership buy-in option after Year 3.

• Schedule & Call:

  • 4-day clinic week (M-F, with 1 weekday off) or 5-day option.

  • Shared call (6-9x/month, rotating daily 7A-7A).

  • Weekend call split (Fri/Sun or Sat; Fri/Sun call = Monday off).

  • Saturday clinic (8-10:30/11 AM, staffed by on-call physician).

• Practice Details:

  • Team-based group practice

  • Average daily patient volume: 20-30 (10-min sick visits, 20-min well checks).

  • Hospital coverage: Level III special care nursery (32+ weeks, CPAP/ventilator capability), pediatric floor rounds, high-risk deliveries.

  • Support staff: 2 NPs (expanding to 3), RNs/LPNs for triage/vaccines, in-house labs/X-ray.

• EMR: NextGen. 

• New graduates welcome to apply - strong support staff and physician mentorship available.

• J-1 waiver support (Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS).
