Position Details
The incoming Medical Director will collaborate with the CEO and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

About Our Hospital and Health System
Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, and Texas Health Resources announced this week that they have entered into a joint venture partnership to build a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Denton, Texas that is expected to open in 2027. This will be the fifth anticipated joint venture inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and will be located at I-35 and West University Drive.

The new free-standing facility will provide inpatient rehabilitation services for adults who have experienced a loss of function or disability due to stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic surgery, amputation and other conditions. With 40 private rooms, it will expand access to inpatient rehabilitation care in Denton County, addressing a growing regional need.
