Frequently asked questions
In general, you will have an initial phone screening, a follow-up call/virtual meeting with the local team and practice manager, and an in-person site visit to meet medical staff and explore the community. Should you and the team agree to move forward, contract terms will be discussed during your visit or shortly after your return home.
Our recruitment team will work with you to learn your practice preferences, community and lifestyle needs and any other important features of your search. We encourage candidates and their spouse/significant other to visit onsite to meet the team.
We offer a variety of provider (physician and APP) roles in direct patient care (clinic, hospital), quality support (CMO) and clinical training (residency support).
Yes, Lifepoint Health partners with PRN providers to fill positions on a temporary basis. As independent contractors, they are responsible for arranging their own benefits such as health insurance and retirement accounts.
We have 24 residency programs with locations in Alabama, Arizona, Kentucky, Michigan, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Residents are encouraged to apply to any open positions, even while in the process of completion. Many of our positions offer stipends, student loan support and loan counseling.
